Certified Architectural Shielding Installers (CASI) was established with a simple mission: to improve quality, consistency, and accountability in the installation of life-safety systems.
Life-safety products such as radiation shielding, bullet-resistant assemblies, and fire-rated opening systems protect people, property, and critical infrastructure. However, even the highest-quality products can fail to perform as intended when improperly installed.
CASI was created to help address this challenge by providing standardized education, competency-based certification, and independent verification for installation professionals and organizations.

Why Certification Matters
Improper installation of life-safety systems can lead to failed inspections, compromised performance, costly rework, project delays, and increased risk to occupants.
CASI certification demonstrates that an individual or organization has successfully completed a standardized educational program and has demonstrated competency in the principles, standards, and installation practices covered by the certification.
